Rule of Thirds
What is the Rule of Thirds?
- The Rule of Thirds is basically visualizing an image you are taking and splitting it vertically and horizontally into thirds. Consequently, you will have nine parts split from that image. The rule comes naturally to some photographers, but it can take some practice for learners to use well.
- Using the rule enables viewers to see a more balanced image, indicates where the main points of interest are to be seen at, and allows viewing to be more natural than bizarre.
- In order to utilize the rule in images, one should place the points of interests on the intersections or along the lines based on where one sees it's best fit to keep in the image.
